Accessibility at Lolla Kids: what changes with the European Accessibility Act (EAA)
On June 28, 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) came into force , bringing important changes to all online stores, including Lolla Kids. But what does this mean in practice for you, our daily visitors?
What is EAA?
The EAA was created to ensure that all consumers, including those with disabilities or special needs, can access, browse, and purchase online easily and independently. This applies to all online stores in the European Union.
What is Lolla Kids doing?
At Lolla Kids, we believe that the magic of choosing a gift for your children or grandchildren should be simple, inclusive, and accessible to everyone. That's why we've implemented:
✅ Clearer text and more visible buttons for easier navigation. ✅ Images with descriptions (alt text) so screen readers know what they're looking at. ✅ Improved color contrast for easy reading on any screen. ✅ Keyboard navigation so you can navigate without a mouse. ✅ Clear and accessible forms for newsletters, checkout, and contact information.
What does this mean to you?
You'll be able to navigate Lolla Kids more intuitively and simply, whether you're shopping on your phone, computer, or using a screen reader. If you have difficulty accessing any content, you can always contact us so we can adjust it and ensure you have the best possible experience.
We are together in this change
At Lolla Kids, we want everyone to be able to choose toys, clothes, and accessories with the same joy and ease, without barriers. Your experience matters, and accessibility is part of our commitment to being a store for all families.
💛 Thank you for trusting Lolla Kids and being part of this change with us. If you have any questions or suggestions about our website's accessibility, please email us at info@lollakids.com .
Lolla Kids is here for you, always.
